FAKE RYSLIG THREAD FOR OPTIMAL AWKWARD
[Sadie had been swinging by the Burner's garage with increasing regularity—but less and less with the intention of seeing Lars. Finally feeling a little more comfortable after being there long enough to be a full-blown monster, and finally feeling full solidarity with her fellow monsters with the plight of eating, Sadie had made her own friends. Plenty, in fact! And Lars had his own life.
And, you know, Sadie got along really well with Julie, Mike and Texas. But it was clear to everyone there, if Sadie wasn't visiting for Lars, she was visiting for Texas. And she thought it was a pretty safe thing, hanging out with him. He had a crush on Julie, and even if Sadie thought he was really charming, sweet and great—and maybe made more masculine men almost seem appealing, Sadie was content just maintaining their friendship. After all, her feelings for Lars were ever pressing and ever distracting.
Which, actually, was kind of why hanging out with Texas was so great.
Currently, they're just wrapping up having worked on Texas's car—he's been showing Sadie how to do some mechanics stuff—and he's recently departed to make some deliveries. Beaming and feeling accomplished, Sadie trots off to the garage wash basin, rinsing and washing oil off her hands before touching up everywhere else with a towel.
