Jul. 30th, 2000 08:42 pm[Everyone has their good days and bad days. Today, for some reason--attributed likely to waking up on the wrong side of the bed (or as a result of chronically bottling things at her own expense), Sadie hasn't been feeling so great. She's not really the moping type, but she's definitely not above it.
She thought walking in the park would be a good pick-me-up--and it was, at first. But as she walked, she noticed the rolling, darkening clouds, and before she knew it, the sun was gone completely. Feeling like maybe she should just go home, the sky suddenly had opened up and just began to absolutely dump in an aggressive Summer downpour.
So here she is, her water-darkened curly hair slowly regaining its fluffy volume drips at a time, at the top of a playground gazebo (having apathetically gone up the ladder, surrendering to her fate with a flat expression), her arms around her knees as she just sort of vaguely gazes at the rain. It's soothing, but it does nothing for her mood, really. And the rainfall is so torrential that Sadie can barely see the park around her, which just... makes her feel lonelier, she guesses.
She's not letting herself believe that this is about Lars, but she knows what it's about.
She just doesn't have anyone she could take this to.]
